General introduction about Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP 1)
Industrial Park VSIP 1 Binh Duong was established for nearly 30 years, in 1996. This is the first model industrial park in the country. VSIP 1 is located on a strategic location in Thuan An city. VSIP 1 location is adjacent to 2 main roads, National Highway 13 and DT743. About 30 minutes drive from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, located in the central area of the key southern economic region, attracting large investment capital of foreign partners. This is also the reason for Binh Duong's GDP to always outperform other localities.
Legal documents on investment are approved in the following decisions:
- Decision No. 870/TTg dated November 18, 1996 of the Prime Minister defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Management Board.
- Investment License No. 1498/GP dated February 13, 1996, 1498/GPDC1 July 20, 1998, 1498/GPDC2 November 5, 2001, 1498/GPDC3 August 10, 2004 issued by the Ministry of Planning and Investment Investment level.
The application for investment certificate signed on June 20, 2008 and the attached dossier of the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited, submitted on June 30, 2008.
