On the morning of March 19, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Southern Investment Promotion Center and the Association of German Enterprises in Vietnam to organize a conference to promote German investment in Binh Duong. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Becamex IDC Corporation leaders and leaders of departments and branches of the province. On the side of the German Business Association in Vietnam, there was Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of the Association; Ms. Le Quynh Anh, Executive Director of the Association of German Businesses in Vietnam.

Tuy vậy, vốn đầu tư của Đức vào Bình Dương còn khá khiêm tốn. Hiện Đức có 18 dự án đang đầu tư sản xuất kinh doanh trên địa bàn tỉnh với tổng số vốn đăng ký là 50,7 triệu đô la Mỹ. Với sự xoay trục của kinh tế toàn cầu và những nỗ lực của địa phương, Bình Dương hứa hẹn sẽ là điểm đến tiềm năng của các DN Đức.

Mr. Alexander Ziehe also proposed issues that Binh Duong needs to improve further to strongly attract FDI capital in the coming time such as: completing connecting transport infrastructure, simplifying administrative procedures, customs procedures, import and export customs clearance; regulations on granting work permits to foreigners; construction permit procedures; preferential investment tax policies, incentives when expanding business investment; Pay attention to sustainability factors such as net emissions, rooftop solar energy systems that meet green production...
Representatives of Becamex company and representatives of departments and branches of the province also shared a lot of useful information with German partners about investment attraction policies, large projects and cooperation potential in the province...
